Urban Meyer has won three National Championships in his career as a head coach but he’s never talked about the best congratulatory message that he’s received.
He opened up about that topic in a Q&A segment with the Big Ten Network on Monday afternoon.
“I’m a big-time golfer and when I was at Florida, Fred Ridley, who is now the chairman of Augusta, called me and said congratulations I’m bringing you to Augusta. That one was my favorite,” Meyer said.
Augusta is where The Masters is held each April for Golf as it’s one of the premier majors for the sport.
Meyer also said that he got calls from both President Barack Obama and George Bush while he won those three National Championships.

We’ll have to see if that congratulatory message is topped tonight when Alabama and Clemson go at it for all the marbles.
