Urban Meyer unable to vote in coaches poll during suspension
Urban Meyer will have to face another suspension alongside his three-game punishment handed down by Ohio State.
The Buckeyes head coach won’t be able to cast a vote in the weekly coaches poll while on suspension, according to USA Today. Meyer is one of 65 coaches selected to vote in this year’s poll.

Suspended coaches are not permitted to vote while sitting out.
The B1G will have a substitute voter to take Meyer’s place while he is on suspension for the first three weeks of the season. Six other B1G coaches have votes: D.J. Durkin (Maryland), Mark Dantonio (Michigan State), P.J. Fleck (Minnesota), Scott Frost (Nebraska), James Franklin (Penn State) and Jeff Brohm (Purdue).
Durkin is currently on administrative leave at Maryland.
