Urban Meyer ahead of Rose Bowl: 'Part of me feels like we failed'
Is a 12-1 season while being Big Ten champions a failure?
It can be depending on the expectations. The expectations in Columbus were for Ohio State to go to the College Football Playoff and potentially win a national title.
The Buckeyes didn’t do that. One could call this season a failure, and because of the expectations, they may not be entirely wrong.
Urban Meyer, ahead of his final game as head coach at Ohio State said that in an interview with ESPN’s Chris Fowler. Meyer talked about more, like the Rose Bowl itself, a potential coaching itch to get back into the profession, his health and other matters.
