Meyer responded to the story with the statement “What-ever. He made his choices,” on Twitter.
She then proceeded to stay she would take Tim Tebow over Kaepernick “a million times. No comparison at all.”
Kaepernick gained national attention last year for his decision to kneel during the national anthem, protesting police brutality against minorities in America. For the past two seasons, it’s become one of the hot-button issues in sports and politics.
After it caught plenty of attention and scrutiny in the media, Meyer deleted the tweet and later apologized for the comments. Here was her response to the criticism she received:

Regardless of intent, Meyer’s decision to publish the tweet wasn’t great judgment on her part. It likely means that Urban Meyer will have to answer a bunch of questions about Twitter and his wife in the coming days and weeks.
