Vegas computer predicts outcome of battle between Ohio State and Indiana
The latest prediction from Odds Shark has this weekend’s showdown between unbeaten Ohio State and Indiana a blowout.
With a 45.9-23.8 predicted score, the Buckeyes are right where everyone expected this season, but don’t tell the Hoosiers that they don’t belong there.
“I love this place. I love these kids. They’re going to fight. I don’t care what anybody says about this stinking game,” said an emotional Allen this week on a Zoom call. “We’re going to compete. We’re going fight. Good Lord willing, we’re going to find a way to keep proving everybody wrong.”
Indiana has done much of their damage on the defensive side, with the unit pressuring the quarterback on 37% of pass-rushing snaps, leading the B1G in that category. The Hoosiers will have their hands full with the Ohio State offense and Heisman candidate Justin Fields.
After three games in the books this season, Fields has demolished defenses, posting a nation-leading 96.4 QBR, an adjusted completion percentage of 92.6, and an incredible zero interceptions. Fields has 13 total touchdowns in three games and will look to hit the ground running after Ohio State was idle in Week 4.
Will the predictions hold true? We will have to wait for kickoff, scheduled for 12 pm EST, Saturday, Nov. 21 to find out.
