The final game of the 2020 NCAA football season is upon us.

After Monday night when No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State square off in the National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida we will have a national champion. But who will win?

Just about everybody has a prediction, whether it’s based on facts and data, or just because of their allegiance to one team or the other.

The computer simulation at OddsShark has taken away the emotional factor, and cranked out what they think the final score will be. That computer model sees an Alabama win, 53.1-36.1.

With this prediction, Alabama will cover both the spread on -8.5 and the current over-under of 75.5. Remarkably, that would even eclipse the point total from last year’s game between LSU and Clemson. The Tigers won that game with the point total landing at 67.

Is the OddsShark model right? We’ll have to wait and see.
