Another freshman offensive lineman has lost his black stripe.
On Wednesday morning, Ohio State announced that freshman walk-on lineman Toby Wilson has been the latest to shed his black stripe, officially earning the right to call himself a Buckeye. The school released a video on the accomplishment.
Wilson was invited to join the program as a walk-on. He’s been with the team since June and was able to prove to the coaching staff that he deserved to have his black stripe removed midway through the season.

It’s always awesome to see Ohio State players achieve that status.
The Buckeyes are 5-1 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in B1G contests. They’ve posted wins over Minnesota, Rutgers and Maryland and will head to Indiana this weekend after an off week.
