No. 1 RB prospect decommits from Ohio State
The nation’s top 2016 running back recruit is no longer committed to Ohio State.
Kareem Walker, who has been the subject of a recruiting war in the last month, announced on Tuesday night that he decommitted from the Buckeyes.

Walker had said as recently as this past weekend that he remained committed to Ohio State, despite the fact that he took an official visit to Michigan last month.
Two weeks ago, he delivered a similar note, saying that he was fully committed to the Buckeyes. He famously committed to the Buckeyes during halftime of the national championship.
The New Jersey recruit was supposed to highlight Urban Meyer’s No. 1 2016 recruiting class. He did say that he would visit Alabama, Mississippi and Arizona State and end with a visit to Columbus.
Having already taken an official visit to Michigan, the Wolverines are still in the running to land the prized tailback.
Last month, Ohio State did get a commitment from four-star running back Antonio Williams, who decommitted from Wisconsin to join the Buckeyes. Whether or not that had an impact on Walker’s decision we’ll never know.
