Denzel Ward isn’t forgetting his draft night experience anytime soon.
The former Buckeye cornerback and Ohio native was selected No. 4 overall by the Cleveland Browns. The speedy defensive back was the first player taken on that side of the ball.
Just in case the magnitude of that moment wasn’t enough for Ward, he got to read a letter from his mom after his selection.
Here’s Ward reading the letter (via NFL):
