WATCH: Archie Griffin talks about how his recruitment came down to Ohio State, Northwestern

Archie Griffin is a name that most college football fans know.
It’s also a name that every Ohio State fan knows. Northwestern fans likely know of Griffin as well, seeing as though he is the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner.
But, what people may not know about Griffin is that during his recruitment when he was in high school, it came down to two schools: Ohio State and Northwestern.
The Wildcats had a shot at the future superstar, and surely would be the icon of the program if he had the same type of success at Northwestern. Here’s Griffin talking about the two schools and why he ended up going with the scarlet and gray:
