Things seem to be getting back to normal for the Ohio State offense.
Trailing 7-2 midway through the first quarter, the Buckeyes were hoping to get a big play to get into the end zone and take an early lead on the Huskers. That’s exactly what they got.
Johnnie Dixon was able to get wide open and Dwayne Haskins delivered a perfect strike to his wide receiver. The result was a 42-yard touchdown catch that gave Ohio State a 16-7 lead.

That touchdown pass what the 31st of the season for Haskins. It was the fifth trip to the end zone for Dixon.
Ohio State is trying to avenge a 49-20 loss to Purdue and improve to 8-1 on the season. While the first few minutes were a little ugly, the Buckeyes appear to be clicking offensively.
