Dwayne Haskins is happy to be invited to New York. Despite a season unlike any the B1G has ever seen, there was some question whether or not the Ohio State gunslinger would be invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

Earlier this week, it was revealed the Haskins was a finalist for college football’s most prestigious individual award. He’ll make the trip to New York with fellow quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) and Kyler Murray (Oklahoma).

It was hard to deny Haskins the invitation for the ceremony. He led the nation in passing with 4,580 yards and touchdowns passes with 47. The Buckeye star set a myriad of program and B1G records.

Haskins gave a quick preview of his trip to New York and his excitement just to be included as a finalist. While he’s hoping his name is called Saturday evening, he said he’ll be happy for his friends Tagovailoa or Murray, if he’s not the winner.
