WATCH: ESPN's Trevor Matich shares why Urban Meyer saga hits close to home
On Saturday, ESPN college football analyst Trevor Matich shared a video to his 16,000 Twitter followers explaining why the Urban Meyer saga hits close to home.
Matich shares the story that his mother was a victim of domestic abuse, making the Ohio State situation – an investigation into whether allegations of domestic abuse against former assistant coach Zach Smith were properly handled – especially emotional for him. While the subject matter makes Matich emotional, he explains that he wants to hear the findings of the investigation before he determines if Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer covered for a domestic abuser.
