It only took Ezekiel Elliott five minutes until he crossed the goal line for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. And when the Cowboys running back reached the end zone, he had a really special celebration planned.
The Cowboys are taking on the Redskins in one of the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day games. Early in the first quarter, Elliott trotted 16 yards to the end zone, giving Dallas an early touchdown advantage.
When he reached the end zone, he was handed some cash, which he then tossed into the Salvation Army’s giant red kettle.

It wasn’t that long ago that Elliott jumped into the red kettle after scoring a touchdown. The money seemed like a better donation this time.
