Denzel Ward is a bad man.
The rookie cornerback is having himself quite an afternoon on an NFL Sunday, as the Cleveland Browns are taking on the Baltimore Ravens. He may be on his way to a weekly award if he keeps it up.
First, Ward came up with a clutch interception as the Ravens were trying to reach the end zone from the Cleveland 2-yard line. Ward read the play well, stepped in front of the target and came up with a huge pick.

But Ward wasn’t satisfied with the interception. Later in the game, with the Browns holding a 6-3 lead, Ward blocked a Ravens’ field goal attempt that would’ve tied the game.
He made the diving leap to block the kick.
DENZEL. WARD.

All of that in just one half of football.
Ward has already had a big season for the Browns. He’s recorded 20 tackles and three interceptions through the first month of the season. He’s also forced and recovered a fumble.
There’s no doubt Cleveland is loving the production its getting out of the Ohio State product.
