Former Ohio State star Denzel Ward hasn’t even played a full quarter in the NFL, and he has recorded his first career interception for the Cleveland Browns.
The rookie was drafted with the fourth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and started in the Browns’ opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the Steelers down to the Cleveland 18-yard line, Ward picked off Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the 5:26 mark of the 1st quarter.

Ward only recorded 2 interceptions in his college career, and both came during his junior year in 2017. He already seems to be an important player for the Browns, who are looking for their first win since the 2016 season.
