Josh Proctor is already giving Ohio State fans a reason to be excited.
Thursday night, Owasso High School (Oklahoma) scrimmaged Westmoore one week before the start of the regular season. The four-star Buckeyes commit is already showing why Urban Meyer wanted to bring him to Columbus.
On a simple screen pass, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Proctor caught a simple screen pass, shook a tackler, outran an entire defense and laid a punishing stiff arm on his way to the end zone:

Not many players are going to want to run into Proctor this season.
And in case you weren’t impressed with the game-speed version, check out that stiff arm in slow motion:

That poor defender didn’t even have a chance.
Proctor is listed as a safety on his 247Sports recruiting profile but has shown some abilities as a receiver. He’s currently ranked as the ninth-best safety of the 2018 class and the third-best player out of Oklahoma. His national ranking in No. 95.
In addition to Ohio State, Proctor had B1G offers from Michigan and Nebraska.
