J.T. Barrett looks fine.
Despite undergoing minor knee surgery a week ago, Barrett made the start for Ohio State in the B1G Championship Game against Wisconsin. And the decision to give the senior gunslinger the nod paid off early.
On the Buckeyes’ second possession of the game, Barrett stood firm in the pocket and delivered a beautiful ball down the field to receiver Terry McLaurin, who then left every single Wisconsin defender in the dust. It gave OSU an early 7-0 lead in the game.

An 84-yard touchdown pass isn’t a bad way to start the title game, especially six days removed from surgery.
That touchdown pass was the 34th of the season for Barrett and his 43rd total score of the year. It was the sixth receiving touchdown for McLaurin on the season, second-most on the team.
