Ohio State is already looking like one of the best teams in the country, but there’s still a lot of work to do in order to win the B1G East.
The Buckeyes are off to a 3-0 start after knocking off TCU behind a strong second half performance. It wasn’t always pretty, but OSU gutted it out against a tough ranked opponent. Now, the team can move forward with Urban Meyer’s three-game suspension behind them.
It’s hard to deny the Buckeyes are the favorites to represent the East division in the B1G Championship Game, but some tough games remain on the schedule. Two games in particular that standout are at Penn State and at home against Michigan.
Recently the BTN crew took time to debate which division rival presents a tougher challenge for the Buckeyes, and the crew was unanimous as each analyst selected Penn State as OSU’s biggest challenger.
“Penn State to me…they have talent,” said James Laurinaitis, “But when you get that white out going, and everybody’s going crazy, that puts another kind of pressure on somebody.”
