As the NFL Draft continues to creep closer and closer, the debate between Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray continues. There’s still a bit of a divide about which quarterback would be the better selection.
NFL Network analysts Bucky Brooks and Lance Zierlein didn’t exactly answer that specific question, but when asked to provide analysis of Haskins, the reviews were pretty good. Brooks was especially high on the former Ohio State star.
“A+ arm talent. A+ pocket presence. A+ accuracy,” Brooks said when evaluating Haskins. He also said the former Buckeye can make any throw on the field when he has a clean pocket.
When it came time to compare Haskins to former or current NFL quarterbacks, Brooks likened Haskins to Carson Palmer. Zierlein made the comparison to Jameis Winston, but said that was more of a “coming out of college” situation rather than current status.
