A few days ago, Michigan defensive lineman Chase Winovich called Ohio State’s 62-39 victory over the Wolverines a “mirage,” stating the a “powerhouse” is being built in Ann Arbor and recruits shouldn’t be discouraged from joining Jim Harbaugh’s movement. Obviously, that comment was met with a lot of criticism.

The Buckeyes trounced Michigan in the season finale, winning 62-39 in Columbus. It was the seventh straight win in the rivalry game for OSU and propelled the Bucks to a second straight B1G title.

“Mirage” probably wasn’t the best choice of words for Winovich to use. And now, Ohio State is using the defensive lineman’s words against him, in what has been the troll job of the year in college football.

Tuesday afternoon, Ohio State released a “mirage” video, throwing Winovich’s words back into his face, and in pretty epic fashion.
