Ohio State-Maryland hasn’t gone the Buckeyes’ way to this point.
In the first half, Maryland RB Anthony McFarland has absolutely gone off, rushing for 231 yards and 2 TD. This has helped the Terrapins get out to a 24-17 lead at halftime.
Not all has been terrible for the Buckeyes, though. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins has completed 10-of-12 passes for 199 yards and a TD and one of his completions was absolutely a highlight play — outside of WR Terry McLaurin catching a 68-yard bomb.
Here’s a look at another one of McLaurin’s catches that was one to remember:
Terrific effort and execution by Terry McLaurin, who overcomes Tino Ellis' pass interference and Dwayne Haskins' under-thrown ball for a 39-yard reception on 3rd-and-9 from Ohio State's 40 down to Maryland's 21. pic.twitter.com/ADYAvhHyId

McLaurin’s hands and concentration were impressive enough on this catch, but he also drew a flag on the Maryland defender on this play as well.
Again, not all is lost for Ohio State. Haskins and McLaurin are looking good, and despite the disastrous start, the Buckeyes only trail by 7 going into the second half.
