It’s been over four hours since the story on Urban Meyer was broken by CFB inside Brett McMurphy, and there’s been no response from Meyer or Ohio State.
CFB reporter Bruce Feldman joined Colin Cowherd Wednesday in wake of McMurphy’s report to discuss where Ohio State goes from here. Meyer entered B1G Media Days having already fired Zach Smith, and he faced questions immediately.
Below is the statement Meyer will have the most trouble explaining.
“2015 — I got a text late last night that something happened in 2015, and there was nothing. I don’t know who creates a story like that,” Meyer said.
Well, there obviously was something. Perhaps Meyer was talking about charges, but if you’re Meyer, you can’t say that there was nothing there.
Ohio State and Urban Meyer have a mess on their hands.
