“Grab onto anything you can and don’t let go.”
I’m not sure if that’s an actual quote coaches use in football, but sounds like something that would be said. It would also be incredibly relatable in Saturday afternoon’s matchup between Tulane in Ohio State.
In the first half of the matchup, a Tulane defender attempted to bring down Parris Campbell. While Campbell slipped out of the tackle, the defender was able cling to his undershirt. And he didn’t let go.
Unfortunately for Campbell, he lost half of the shirt.

It was a valiant effort, but Campbell was still able to get away from the potential tackle.
That play basically sums up the first half in Columbus. The Buckeyes had a comfortable 42-6 lead after the first two quarters of the contest. Dwayne Haskins completed 21-of-24 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns.
Campbell had eight receptions for 147 yards and two scores.
Saturday’s matchup against Tulane marks the end of the non-conference schedule for Ohio State. The Buckeyes will battle Penn State in B1G action next weekend.
