Saturday was a really special day for two members of Ohio State’s football team.
Following a team scrimmage over the weekend, Urban Meyer closed the workout with a special surprise for receiver Elijaah Goins and linebacker Zach Turnure. After walking on to the program a few years ago, both would be on scholarship with the Buckeyes.
The reactions were priceless:
Doesn't get much better than this. Congratulations to @WorkHardSleepEz for earning a well-deserved scholarship!#GoBucks https://t.co/a3Yu5ZqWoz

Goins is in his third season at Ohio State and walked on to the program in 2015. He’s appeared in 13 games and has seven tackles. He was an Academic All-B1G selection in 2016.
Turnure walked on in 2014 and has played in 12 games for the Buckeyes. Most of his appearances came on special teams.
Both players are seniors.
This will certainly be a year both Goins and Turnure remember for a long time.
