There’s never a break in the rivalry. Ever.

Ohio State’s focus on beating Michigan is a way of life. There may be 11 other games on the schedule, but the Buckeyes are always preparing for the season finale against their bitter rival. And former wide receiver Parris Campbell wants to make sure the newcomers understand the significance of “The Game.”

In a video posted on Monday morning, Campbell lit a fire under the incoming Buckeyes, letting them know of the importance of that late-November matchup.

“We got 162 days! We got 162 days!” Campbell yelled, repeating the phrase several times. “162 days ’til we go up north and we dog them as usual!”

Ohio State has dominated the head-to-head series lately, winning the last seven matchups and 14 of the previous 15 games. The 2019 Buckeyes don’t want to be the ones responsible for ending the streak.

Last year, the Buckeyes blew out Michigan 62-39 in Columbus.
