In a few months, Joe Burrow will have large paychecks coming his way. He’ll have a lot of major decisions to make when it comes to some of his early purchases.
But what does the former LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner plan on buying with his first paycheck from the NFL? His response was interesting.
In an interview with TMZ, Burrow revealed what he plans to buy with his first paycheck. A personal chef will be his top priority wants he gets into the league.
“I’m a healthy eater, so whatever he or she can make that tastes good and keeps me shredded,” Burrow told TMZ.
Burrow will be a high draft pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, with many projecting him to be the No. 1 overall selection come late April. A few other names are in the mix — primarily Ohio State’s Chase Young — but Burrow seems to be the favorite.
Last season Burrow led LSU to a perfect 15-0 season, winning the national championship. He produced one of the greatest individual seasons in recent memory, throwing for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns.
