Day talked about a number of topics on Monday, providing an all-around look at the Buckeyes in the offseason.
He spoke on defensive returners Jerron Cage, Teradja Mitchell and Palaie Gaotoete all coming back for the 2022 season, as well as Sevyn Banks moving on from the program.
Day also talked about new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, other staff hires and a myriad of other topics. Here were some of the biggest talking points for the Ohio State head coach on Monday:

Ryan Day says it is huge that Ohio State now has a dedicated team to help athletes get NIL opportunities. He says Ohio State is going to be cautious to make sure it follow the rules, but he expects Ohio State to “compete with everybody in the country” on NIL.

On the Bengals going to the Super Bowl, Day says it's exciting for the entire state of Ohio. Day says he's particularly excited to cheer on Joe Burrow, but he's pulling for all the former Buckeyes on the roster.
