What Ryan Day said following Ohio State's win over Tulsa
Ohio State looked unimpressive at times against Tulsa, but the Buckeyes finally did enough late to put the game away for good.
The Golden Hurricane battled back time and time again and kept the game close into the fourth quarter. But a big pick-six late by Cam Martinez sealed the win and gave the Buckeyes the bounce-back win they were looking for.

CLAIM NOW!The real story of the game though came from freshman running back TreVeyon Henderson. He rushed for 270 yards and 3 TDs on the afternoon, powering Ohio State in a major way. Henderson also shattered an Ohio State record previously set by Archie Griffin.
Moving forward, Henderson likely has a hold on the starting position and could provide the type of balance Ohio State’s offense has been looking for. Henderson’s big game and the rotation in the running back room were among the topics Ryan Day covered in his postgame press conference.
Here’s what Day had to say about Week 3:
Is Matt Barnes calling the defense a permanent move? "That's kind of the way I see it going forward right now." Day says Larry Johnson is very involved as well.
