What a game.
If you didn’t see No. 10 Ohio State take on Maryland on the road, then you missed out. If you haven’t heard already, the Buckeyes had to go to OT with the Terrapins in order to pull out a 52-51 victory.
Maryland went for two after a TD to try and win the game in the first OT, and even though a receiver was open in the end-zone, the throw was off, resulting in a Buckeye win. The statistics, no matter where you look, were insane.
Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins not only broke the single-season passing record on Saturday, but he also broke the single-season passing TD record as well with his 28-of-38 for 405 yards and 3 TD performance. On the ground, J.K. Dobbins had a whopping 37 carries go for 203 yards and a TD, while Haskins had another 3 TD rushing as well.
For Maryland, RB Anthony McFarland had an incredibly productive day, taking 21 carries for 298 yards and 2 TD. His scores came from 81 and 75 yards out, respectively.
