What Urban Meyer said after Ohio State improved to 7-0, defeated Minnesota
The 2018 season hasn’t been perfect for No. 3 Ohio State, but the Buckeyes’ record would say otherwise.
Ohio State was 6-0 going into its Week 7 matchup with Minnesota, and once again, the Buckeyes came away victorious. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins completed 33-of-44 passes for 412 yards and 3 TD en route to the 30-14 victory.

Minnesota ultimately hung tough for a while, trailing just 20-14 going into the fourth quarter, but the Buckeyes defense held strong when it mattered most. For Week 8, Ohio State will travel to face Purdue.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. with the game being televised on ABC.

Urban Meyer noted that Ohio State was without five starters for most of today’s game: Nick Bosa, Malik Harrison and Jonathon Cooper didn’t play, and Damon Arnette and Robert Landers left the game early too.

Urban Meyer: “I was disappointed in the run (defense).” Also says the pass defense is “not a strength right now.”
He says the strengths of the day were turnovers and shutting out Minnesota in the second half.
