The 2018 season has just about come to a close.
All that remains is the postseason. On Saturday night, Ohio State did what it did for all but one game this season — and that’s win. The Buckeyes defeated Northwestern 45-24 and QB Dwayne Haskins put on a show all night long.
The sophomore threw for 499 yards and 5 TD en route to the 21-point victory. Numerous records were broken. That’s been the case all season for Haskins.
Now, it’s all up to the College Football Playoff committee. Is Ohio State a Top 4 teams or is it sitting barely on the outside?
We’ll find out Sunday. But first, after the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, Buckeye coach Urban Meyer spoke with the media:
Urban Meyer is at the podium. Praises Fitzgerald and Northwestern. "What a great game. Our guys kept coming and coming. I've never been more proud of my players and staff" in overcoming adversity.

Meyer on whether a conference title and whether it matters tonight that it's unlikely to be in the CFP: "Sure it matters. The ultimate prize is a national championship but you can't even be in that conversation unless you win a conference championship." (slight paraphrase).

Meyer: "I know they have a tough decision to make because we're a heckuva football team."

Urban Meyer says Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins is "without question" a Heisman Trophy candidate. Meyer said he saw the numbers for Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa and Oklahoma's Kyler Murray and believes Haskins can stack up with them." Afterward, Haskins… https://t.co/OxepeKKJbV
