Urban Meyer made his return to the Ohio State sideline on Saturday after serving a three-game suspension stemming from the situation involving ex-assistant coach Zach Smith.
The Buckeyes head coach wasn’t disappointed in his return.
Ohio State posted a 49-6 win over Tulane on Saturday, closing out the non-conference schedule. With the win, OSU improved to 4-0 on the season. Dwayne Haskins and Parris Campbell were sensational in the win and the defense didn’t appear to miss defensive end Nick Bosa too much.
After the game, Meyer met with the media for a post-game press conference for the first time this season. Here’s what the Buckeyes head coach had to say following his return to the field:
Meyer said he wore a pin today in honor of a friend who recently passed away.
