Will Howard and Ohio State are 3-0 after a comfortable 49-14 win over Marshall in Columbus.

The Buckeyes, coming out of an open week, gave the Thundering Herd all they could handle, rolling up 569 yards of total offense — including 280 rushing yards.

Many of those came from Quinshon Judkins, who had his best game in a Buckeye uniform: 14 carries, 173 yards, 2 touchdowns. TreVeyon Henderson tacked on 76 yards and 2 scores of his own for good measure.

“When the run game is clicking like that, man, it makes my job easy … It keeps you on schedule,” Howard said, according to Eleven Warriors’ Chase Brown. “When you present a balanced attack like we did today, it can open a lot of things up.”

Judkins and Henderson’s performances took the pressure off Howard, who threw for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns on 16-of-20 passing.

“[It’s] fun…you never know what’s gonna happen,” he added. “Our offense is so explosive. It’s crazy. Literally every play can go for a touchdown.”

The Buckeyes didn’t reach the 50-point mark as they did in their first two games, but they’ve now outscored opponents 157-20. They open B1G play at Michigan State in Week 5.
