Will Howard is off to a perfect start on Saturday afternoon vs. Indiana.

Although the Buckeyes didn’t produce points on either of their first 2 drives, Howard is 14-of-14 so far against the Hoosiers. The final pass of that hot start was a game-tying touchdown pass to star receiver Emeka Egbuka.

The ball was slightly tipped by the Indiana DB, but Egbuka did a great job of adjusting to the deflection. Here’s a replay:

Howard appears to be locked in as Ohio State looks to move to 10-1 on the season. The Buckeyes will need him to continue to play well if they want to earn a spot in next month’s Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis.

For Egbuka, this was his 9th touchdown catch of the season. That’s one off of his career-high for a single campaign, which he set back in 2022.

Ohio State’s offense has not been able to run the ball much in this game, so the Buckeyes may need to lean on Howard as a passer in order to have success offensively in this game. Ohio State is playing with a re-shuffled offensive line in this contest after losing Seth McLaughlin to a season-ending injury in practice this week.

Ohio State has recorded 28 consecutive wins over Indiana.
