Will Howard knows he is supposed to say Ohio State doesn’t pay attention to social media. However, some things are too big to miss, including Curt Cignetti’s arrival at Indiana.

All offseason, the new head coach of the Hoosiers was trying to drum up support for his program. But in order to do so, he took some shots at other Big Ten teams, including Ohio State and Michigan, in the process.

On Saturday, the Buckeyes got their chance to face Cignetti’s team, and they did not disappoint. They erased a 7-0 hole by scoring 31 straight points and adding the punctuation mark inside a minute left to play for the 38-15 win.

After the game, FOX’s Jenny Taft asked Howard about one of his in-game celebrations. According to Taft, she heard Howard screaming “Google me,” a reference to one of Cignetti’s early comments.

Howard admitted the team had heard all the noise about the Hoosiers, but he also said he has a lot of respect for the head coach:

“I just try to say we don’t listen to the stuff on social media, but we hear it. I was just having some fun with it,” claimed Howard. “I got a lot of respect for those guys, man. I think what coach Cignetti’s done over there, he’s done a heck of a job. The Buckeyes are here and the Buckeyes won, so Google that.”

Now, the Buckeyes are in a great position to reach the B1G Championship Game and the College Football Playoff.
