Michigan entered Saturday’s regular season finale against Ohio State as the program with the highest winning percentage in college football. But after 60 minutes on the field, the Buckeyes stole that title from the Wolverines.

With Saturday’s 56-27 victory over Michigan, Ohio State’s all-time winning percentage is now at .7298 with a 923-325-53 record. Michigan’s record is now 962-345-36, a percentage of .7297.

Boise State actually owns the best winning percentage at the FBS level at .7317 (460-168-2), but Ohio State is the leader for programs with 500 wins or more.

Ohio State clinched its eighth straight win over Michigan on Saturday and improved to 12-0 this season. The Buckeyes will be in Indianapolis next week for a chance to win its third-straight B1G title.
