Yang Yang, Giant Panda at Zoo Atlanta, reveals Peach Bowl prediction
It’s that time of year again. No, we’re not talking about the holidays, it’s time to once again debate who will take home the national championship in the College Football Playoff.
Yang Yang — one of the Giant Pandas housed at Zoo Atlanta — took part in the yearly festivities Tuesday. With one box of food labeled for Ohio State and another for Georgia, Yang Yang went to the box of the team expected to win the Peach Bowl semifinal matchup.

There was not much drama involved in Yang Yang’s pick with the panda immediately approaching the box representing the Bulldogs and tearing into it. However, it’s worth debating the setup with Georgia’s box appearing to be situated closer to the panda’s entrance than Ohio State’s box.

Or maybe there’s a different interpretation of this endeavor. Maybe the way Yang Yang ripped into the box of the Bulldogs is how the Buckeyes and Ryan Day’s offense will rip into Georgia’s defense in Atlanta.
We’ll find out in the New Year’s Eve matchup between the two sides.
