The 2021 season was a dramatic one for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Under head coach Zac Taylor, the Bengals rolled all the way through the AFC Playoffs and into the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams. Unfortunately, the Bengals would lose in the final minutes after leading for much of the game.
In the end, the Bengals fell short but the dramatic run was fueled by some key plays in former Buckeyes. Those plays included work from Vonn Bell, Sam Hubbard and Joe Burrow.
Speaking Friday during the Ohio State coaching clinic, Taylor admitted that the Bengals always take a bit longer look at Buckeyes via the draft process. According to Taylor, Ohio State players “just deserve that.”
He went on to say that Bell and Hubbard have played key roles in helping establish a winning culture for Cincinnati. Here’s a glimpse at what Taylor had to say, courtesy of Dan Hope and Griffin Strom of Eleven Warriors.
