After battling for position in the paint, Key’s left arm appeared to go limp with the forward visibly battling pain. Time was eventually called with Key leaving the court and immediately heading to the locker room to be evaluated.

Key enters Thursday’s game against the Boilermakers averaging 13.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and shooting 63.5% from the field while starting all 13 games for the Buckeyes. Fortunately, his absence has not a major factor early on with Ohio State getting out to a hot start.

Sean McNeil — a fellow starter for Ohio State — has also departed the game to be evaluated. McNeil came down on the foot of a Purdue player after a jump shot and was in pain before getting helped off the court.
