If possible, the Saquon Barkley buzz just increased some more on Friday.

The Penn State tailback, who has been making headlines all offseason for his freakish feats on the practice field and in the weight room, topped a fitting list.

Barkley was listed No. 1 on Bruce Feldman’s annual “Freaks List.” The list counted down the freakish athletes on college football, and Barkley was the only running back or B1G player in the top four.

Why did Barkley top the list? Perhaps it had something to do with his 405-pound power clean.

Maybe it had something to do with his reps of 525-pound squats.

There was also Barkley’s 4.33-second 40-yard dash:

Not bad for a 228-pound running back.

All of those are just part of the reason why Barkley is being projected as a top-five pick in next year’s draft. Add in the fact that Barkley is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons full of electric highlights and it’s no wonder why many believe he’s on the short list of Heisman Trophy candidates.

Barkley wasn’t the only B1G player to make the list.

Rashan Gary, who posted his own freakish next-level metrics, made Feldman’s list at No. 5. Like Barkley, expectations for Gary are sky-high in 2017.

Here were the six B1G players that made Feldman’s “Freaks List.”

1. Saquon Barkley, Penn State RB

5. Rashan Gary, Michigan DL

13. Mike Gesicki, Penn State TE

17. Jerome Baker, Ohio State LB

30. Nate Hoff, Indiana DT

32. Tyler Lancaster, Northwestern DE
