It’s one thing for a football player to wear a pair of Air Jordans. It’s another to pull off M.J.’s signature jumpman dunk.
Credit Nick Bowers for doing the latter.
Saquon Barkley got a video of the 6-4, 270-pound Penn State tight end jumping over one of his PSU teammates and throwing down a dunk:
Not bad for a 270lb TE… Over a 6’0 wide receiver ???⚪️@Nbowers28pic.twitter.com/OyXuWlci16

Think it was only impressive in slow motion? Nope, it was still just as freakish in full speed:

It shouldn’t come as a major surprise to see Bowers throw down like that. The 6-4 redshirt freshman played basketball at Kittanning High School. Originally a Pittsburgh commit, Bowers flipped to Penn State.
The former three-star recruit will have a chance to battle for playing time this fall. With the Lions thin at the position, Bowers could prove to be too athletic to keep off the field.
