Bucs WR, former Penn State star gets bad news about injury status
It looks like Chris Godwin’s season is coming to an end with just a few weeks left before the playoffs.
Adam Shefter of ESPN confirmed that the former Nittany Lions’ wideout will be missing the the rest of the year after injuring his ACL during the 1st half of the 9-0 loss against New Orleans Saints on Sunday night.
Godwin had 1,103 yards receiving before the injury, which was the 5th-most in the NFL. He also had 5 touchdowns as well.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiving corps will now be without Godwin and might be without Mike Evans as well. Evans was listed as week-to-week with a hamstring injury following the game. We’ll see how this effects the Buccaneers’ offense down the stretch with some key divisional games coming up.
