Caziah Holmes has officially entered the transfer portal. He was seen at practice Wednesday, but left fans in the air when he disappeared from the roster Saturday.

Holmes, a 3rd-year back in the Nittany Lions offense , has just 284 yards to his name across his time in University Park. He totaled just 5 carries in 2021 for what was a dismal Penn State rushing attack.

Holmes was a former 4-star running back, but had not quite worked out for the Nittany Lions. His climb to a potential starting role became that much harder this season as Penn State welcomes 5-star running back Nick Singleton, returns dependable sophomore Keyvone Lee and 4-star running back Kaytron Allen.
