Chop Robinson has been ruled out for No. 10 Penn State’s contest in Week 9 against visiting Indiana (2-5) according to the latest availability report.

The 6-foot-3 junior defensive end/linebacker was carted off the field during the first half in last weekend’s loss against Ohio State. James Franklin recently mentioned that he believes the injury won’t be a lingering concern for the rest of the season.

Robinson has tallied 9 tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble this season. The Maryland native originally started his college career with 1 season for the Terrapins in 2021. For his career, Robinson has amassed 29 total tackles and 5 sacks.

Penn State (6-1) has been ferocious defensively this season. The Nittany Lions rank No. 2 nationally in points per game allowed (9.7) with 2 shutouts and have not allowed over 15 points in any contest.

Indiana has yet to win a conference game this season. Penn State leads the all-time series 24-2 with a 2-game winning streak vs. the Hoosiers.

Indiana at Penn State is slated for a 12 p.m. EST kickoff (CBS).
