The Atlanta Falcons were giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quite a fight before Chris Godwin extended the Bucs lead to 10.

Tom Brady threw his 5th touchdown pass of the game to Godwin while the Bucs were up 3 about halfway through the 4th quarter and it’s been Tampa ever since.

Godwin had only 4 catches for 62 yards in the contest, though that touchdown couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. After that play, Tampa Bay got a pick-6 from Matt Ryan to make it 42-25 before winning the game 48-25.

Mike Evans had 2 of Brady’s other touchdown throws as he finished the game with 75 yards receiving as well. Rob Gronkowski also had 2 touchdown receptions for the game as the Bucs got to 2-0 in their quest to repeat.

Going back to Godwin, this was his 2nd touchdown reception of the season after he had one against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.

He’ll go for his 3rd touchdown grab next Sunday when the Bucs take on the Los Angeles Rams.
