Penn State got great news after its 46-10 win over the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday afternoon. Three-star CB Zion Tracy announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions.

Tracy is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound CB from Glen Head, N.Y.; according to 247sports.com, he is the 6th highest rated CB in New York, and the 100th ranked CB in the country.

Penn State has the 12th-rated recruiting class early on for 2023 commits; they already have 20 hard commits. In this day and age, though, you can never have too many with the way the transfer portal is utilized.

Tracy had offers from Syracuse, Buffalo, UConn and Maine. Penn State is 2-0 on the season, and 1-0 in B1G play after defeating Purdue on opening night 35-31 in West Lafayette.

Penn State will have to navigate a demanding schedule if they want to get back to the B1G title game as they face 3 teams in the top 15 plus the SEC opponent in Auburn.

The Nittany Lions have a test this weekend as they make a trip to the Plains to take on Auburn at 3:30 ET on CBS.
