Cleveland Browns cut Hard Knocks star, former Penn State DE
Carl Nassib was becoming quite the hit on the HBO show Hard Knocks.
Unfortunately for Nassib, though, he won’t be seen any longer in a Cleveland Browns uniform. The Browns had to cut their roster down to 53 members and Nassib was one of many who did not survive the cut.
Another Hard Knocks spoiler alert: Browns waived DL Carl Nassib today. Cleveland’s loss is Goldman Sachs gain.

The Browns issued a release involving the moves the team made to get to its 53-man roster.
Nassib, who played at Penn State from 2011-15, set a Nittany Lions record his senior season by recording 15.5 sacks. He also forced six fumbles and was a consensus All-American.
The 6-foot-7 pass-rusher was drafted in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Browns.
