The college football season is heading into the middle of September, bringing us to a Week 3 slate next Saturday.

The Week 2 action has already been impressive and dramatic. Ohio State was upset at home by Oregon, marking the first regular-season loss for the Buckeyes under Ryan Day. In the Cy-Hawk rivalry, Kirk Ferentz’s Hawkeyes dominated on defense while moving to 2-0.

In Week 3, some key non-conference games dominate the schedule. Nebraska will travel to Norman to face Oklahoma, Cincinnati will come to Bloomington to face Indiana, and Penn State will welcome Auburn to Happy Valley for the White Out.

Saturday evening, ESPN announced that College GameDay would be heading to Penn State next weekend for what should be a top-25 matchup in the White Out environment:

This should be a good one! James Franklin’s squad will be 2-0 for the game after knocking off Ball State in blowout fashion.
