Drew Allar produced one of the most magical plays you’ll see in the Peach Bowl, turning near disaster into a massive gain for Penn State.

The play started to break down with Ole Miss’ pass rush trying to get home to Allar. He kept the play alive by scrambling but pulled up for a risky pass back across his body with defenders arriving.

The throw was dangerous, evidenced by the fact it was tipped by a Rebel defender. Fortunately, the pass snuck through where Tyler Warren reached back behind him for a nifty one-handed grab.

After Warren snagged it, he had a huge open field in front of him. He nearly went the distance but ultimately picked up 76 yards after Allar’s Houdini act in the backfield.

Even better news, Penn State made sure not to waste the big-time play. Allar found Theo Johnson for a short touchdown on a 4th-and-goal play to tie things up at 10-all early in the second quarter.

Ole Miss has since kicked a field goal to move to 13-10, but Penn State is playing well in Atlanta.
